Welcome to your Apapacho Diaries
Have you ever heard the word apapacho?
In Mexico, apapacho is a beautiful word often associated with the idea of embracing, comforting, or caring for someone deeply — almost like a hug for the soul.
And that's exactly what I want this space to be.
A little moment to pause.
To listen to yourself.
To put your thoughts on paper.
To give yourself the same attention and kindness you so easily give to others.
This year, I wanted to make journaling a bigger part of my everyday life.
And honestly, I didn't expect how much it would help me.
Writing has become one of my ways of slowing down, understanding what I'm feeling, organizing my thoughts, exploring ideas and making space for what I actually want. As someone who works with the body, I've also learned how important it is to make space for the mind. Through my own process, conversations with psychologists and conversations with people I trust, I've experienced how powerful it can be to simply stop and put things into words.
So I started making journaling part of my rituals.
But because sometimes writing creates enough space to hear yourself more clearly. And today, I want to share that space with you.
FALL EQUINOX × APAPACHO
The Fall Equinox is a natural moment of transition. A moment to pause between what has been and what is coming next. Six months of the year are behind you. And there are still three months ahead. You don't need to have everything figured out.
Instead, take this moment to ask:
Where am I right now? What do I need?
What am I ready to create, change, release or simply allow?
For this ritual, you don't need a special journal.
- Grab your favorite notebook, a few sheets of paper, or even the notes app on your phone.
- There is no perfect way to journal.
- The only rule is to be honest with yourself.

DATE:______
WHERE AM I RIGHT NOW?
Write a few words about how you feel today.
01 · WHERE AM I IN MY CYCLE?
Life doesn't move in a straight line. There are moments when we feel ready to expand, create and take action. And there are moments when we need to slow down, reflect, rest or let something go.
So instead of asking yourself:
“What should I be doing?” Try asking: “What do I need right now?”
this is the key ✧
02 · WHAT DO I NEED?
Now, instead of forcing yourself into action, listen.
What do I need more of right now?
☐ Space to create
☐Time to rest
☐ Focus
☐ Structure
☐ Courage to take action
☐ Time to reflect
☐ Permission to let go
☐ A moment to simply be
Why do I think I need this right now?________

03 · LOOKING BACK
Six months have passed. Before rushing into what's next, take a moment to recognize where you've been.
- How have I felt since January?______
- What has changed?_____
- What have I learned about myself?_____
- What do I want to recognize and appreciate?______
===
04 · WHAT AM I READY TO RELEASE?
Some things don't need to come with us into the next season. Maybe it's an expectation. A fear. A habit. A thought. A version of yourself you no longer recognize.
Take a breath. And ask:
- What am I ready to leave behind?_______
- What thought, habit or expectation no longer feels aligned?_______
- What would become possible if I made space for something new?______
Take a slow breath in 1...2....3....4..... VOCAL Exhale. (ahhh)
05 · KEEP YOUR FIRE
If you have a candle nearby, light it.
Take a few moments to look at the flame.
You can simply use it as a symbol of your inner fire:
your energy | your creativity | your desires | your curiosity | your aliveness |
Now ask yourself:
What do I want to keep alive?
- A dream?
- An idea?
- A creative practice?
- A relationship with myself?
- A new habit?
- A feeling?
- A part of myself?
Write whatever comes__________
What deserves my attention during the next three months?
06 · FROM INTUITION TO ACTION
This is where listening becomes movement. You don't need to turn every idea into a five-year plan. Start small.
- LISTEN: What is my intuition asking for?
- CHOOSE: What idea, desire or intention feels most alive right now?
- CREATE_: What would it look like if I put this idea on paper?_
- MOVE: What is one small action I can take?
- ALIGN: Does this action feel aligned with the way I want to live?
- REST: What happens when I stop forcing and give myself space to integrate?
You don't always need to push forward. Sometimes movement looks like action. Sometimes movement looks like rest.
Both are part of the journey.
07 · CHOOSE YOUR WORD | intention | sankalpa
Now bring everything you've written together. Think about the season ahead.
How do you want to feel as you move through it? Choose one word.
Presence | Freedom | Trust | Softness | Courage | Joy | Balance | Focus
Or choose your own.
MY WORD FOR THIS SEASON:_______
WHY THIS WORD?___________
HOW CAN I EMBODY / "apapacho" IT?_______
🤍 08 · YOUR APAPACHO
Take one last breath. Look at what you've written. You don't need to solve everything today. You don't need to know exactly where you're going. You don't need to become a completely new person. Maybe this is simply your reminder to come back to yourself.
To listen. To create. To act when it feels right. To rest when you need to. To release what no longer belongs. To make space for what is coming.
You are allowed to move at your own rhythm.
And sometimes, the most powerful thing we can do for ourselves is simply stop long enough to listen.
That is your apapacho. A little space to hold yourself. A little space to hear yourself. A little space to come home to yourself.

WANT TO GO A LITTLE DEEPER?
You can also bring these reflections into your Moon App chatbot.
Share what came up while journaling and ask it to guide you through your next questions.
You can ask for:
- More journaling prompts
- Help organizing your thoughts
- Reflection questions
- A deeper exploration of your intention
- Ideas for turning your intention into small actions
- You don't have to know what to ask.
You can simply begin with:
“I just completed my Fall Equinox Apapacho Diaries. Can you guide me through what came up?”
Let the conversation become another space for reflection.
