The energy lights up in violet flames and voices rise to be heard. July 22 - August 22.

From July 22 we enter the beautiful period of the Sun being in Leo. Leo is ruled by the Sun, and being in its home planet strengthens the global energy to be more heart-focused and heart-led.

After a month of the Sun being in Cancer and having our emotions at the forefront, now is a moment for us to really lean into our heart space. The more you put your hand over your heart and really ground, the better. You're being asked to tune into your presence and awareness of yourself.

During this time period, give yourself a moment to reflect on the ways in which you provide your generosity to the world;

How much of yourself do you give out?

Is there a balance or an imbalance?

Leo energy is encompassed with generosity and loyalty. Alongside the current Jupiter in Leo transit, the more authentic we are with our generosity, the more we expand. This is even more magnetic during the Sun in Leo period.

Perhaps if you've ignored your own needs for a long time, then this is a moment where that surfaces and the Universe asks you to shift.

How you actually decide to shift is ultimately up to you; it can be as simple as the mindset, or you may even feel called to change your perception on how you're seen in the world.

Another thing to ponder on is your likes and dislikes when it does come to being seen, in every sense. Leo energy surfaces this, and can help you to come to more realisations about yourself and your authentic personality.

Time to bring out some sort of writing tool again - whether it's a pen and paper, a laptop, or a bay leaf. You're even welcome to type it in the comments below.

Write or type the following into your chosen tool. As you jot it down, really feel the words flow through your body.

"I accept my emotions for what they are and allow them to flow through me, but yet I am in control of my decisions, and I make those decisions with confidence.

I release all areas in my life in which I overcomplicate or overdramatise that does not serve my best interest."

After you complete your writing, read over it again. If you're able to speak it aloud, do that too. When you accept this energy into the cells of your body, your entire life shifts in beautiful ways.

Enjoy this beautiful period. If you're in the Southern Hemisphere, the winter energy really balances out here with the pure, joyful and positive energy of Leo. If you're in the Northern Hemisphere, there's even more of an emphasis on pure joy and enlightenment as the summer sun codes your cells.

The Sun will remain in Leo until August 22, in which it will then move into Virgo.
