Scorpio season is among us; the Sun having entered Scorpio in October 22 and remaining there until November 22. Scorpio illuminates the intuitive and the subconscious power within, and over this season you'll see that energy reflecting in everything and everyone.
Scorpio is traditionally ruled by Mars, the planet of action-taking, dominance and aggressor energy, and in Modern Astrology ruled by Pluto, the planet of death, sex, transformation and rebirth. You can see Scorpio energy reflected in both of these planets, and I like to think of the constellation as double-ruled this way.
There is a deepness to Scorpio energy that is engrained in the energetic blueprint of the zodiac sign. This is why Scorpio placements love to dig deeper, find the hidden truths, and search for what can be uncovered.
In this same kind of way an unhealed Scorpio placement can be the opposite - overly reactive and passive aggressive. In situations like these, Scorpios ultimately just tell their truth, and sometimes, people aren't ready to hear the truth - or perhaps that person has a different truth than yours. Therefore, Scorpios can cause an 'emotional death' feeling to the people around them.
That is an interesting consideration; we all have our own truth and our own reality.
The ideal scenario is to find a balance between how much of our own truth we share VS how much is actually necessary. Of course we do not want to lie, but sometimes, let's actually consider; do we need to share all of the details?
Equally, we must be kind with ourselves. If we trigger someone else with something that we say, we can apologise to them, but we should also allow ourselves to feel what we're personally feeling. Trust that if you do trigger someone with your own truth, they are being triggered for a reason - likely their own growth, to be reborn into a more elevated version of themselves.
I recommend that you check your natal chart for what Scorpio placements you have and reflect on this throughout the season. Due to the intensity of Scorpio energy, it is actually recommended by many astrologers to be more secretive about your Scorpio placements to channel on the mysterious energy of the zodiac. My take on this is that, with the intensely intuitive and occult energy behind Scorpio anyway, you can put up a protective energy around what you share, so that no one can take any information about you and twist it for their own benefit. You can do this by simply journalling or whispering, 'I am fully protected in all of my astrological placements, no one can EVER twist it for their own benefit, in all times and realities. And so it is". At the end of the day, it is up to you what you keep private.
