The theatrical drama is over — it’s time to confidently show your true self 🎭✨

We can celebrate! Mercury, the most famous “retrograde hero,” is wrapping up its second tour of 2025 in Leo.

This means the confusion in plans and the hints of “star fever” are fading. Throughout August, Mercury will still be basking in the glory of this sign, but it will no longer be actively stirring up mix-ups and informational “surprises.”

Time for clarity

The retrograde phase officially ends on August 11 (it began on July 18), but there is still a post-shadow phase ahead. You can read more about it here

This is the period when the planet gradually returns to its usual speed and clarity.

If during the retrograde you managed to say too much, receive “compliments” about your crown, or urgently change your plans several times in a row — don’t rush out on the day of the turnaround to buy a new gadget or book the trip of your dreams.

Yes, sometimes people like to blame everything on the planets or rely on them completely, but hold off on the dramatic “Now I can!” — Mercury is still slowing down.

Give it time to pick up speed. Imagine you’re behind the wheel of a sports car: before flooring the gas, you need to pull out of the garage first. So instead of a sudden start, go for a smooth acceleration — in your work, plans, studies, and everything related to technology, information, schedules, travel, and close relatives.

While Mercury in Leo (Until September 2)

From August 11 — and even better from August 16–18, as the post-shadow phase fades — the energy is ideal for:

  • Returning to key negotiations and presentations — showcase your leadership with confidence.
  • Reviving creative projects — Leo loves the stage, recognition, and bold moves.
  • Strengthening your personal brand — update your profile or debut a new image.
  • Finalizing documents and signatures delayed during retrograde.
  • Pitching ideas with a “wow” effect — charisma will be your main tool.
  • Prioritizing in-person meetings and face-to-face communication — Leo values real connection.

A final note on souvenirs from the past

Mercury Retrograde rarely leaves without a small souvenir from the past. It can bring back old projects, forgotten contacts, or even memories you suddenly feel the need to revisit.

For example, for me this retrograde Mercury turned into a sort of “family postman” — I reconnected with my cousins after more than ten years of no contact.

And what kind of “corrections” did this Mercury push you toward? What did it bring back or make you rethink? Share your story — perhaps the main lesson of this Mercury for you lies in these very experiences before it sets off at full speed again.

It sent me texts from my mom who passed away last year. I thought the text messages were gone forever but they suddenly popped up yesterday out of nowhere. What a gift!

I finally let go of a toxic family relationship dynamic with my mother and father. It’s still a transition process, but I did it. I finally went no contact. Just basking in my bravery and taking it one step at a time.

Bella, this was a courageous move of self love. I had to do it 15 years ago with my mother and I have never regretted choosing a life free of her destruction.

Some relationships can't be saved. Instead they are there to teach us our self worth independent of these fundamental relationships and to find the courage to protect that worth. That is a form of self love.

I realise you struggle with both parents, but I highly recommend the book: "When you and your mother can't be friends" by Victoria Secunda. It explains these toxic relationships and it's impact on you. This book helped me understand and heal.

I had a family reunion for an Aunt's 80th and caught up with some people I hadn't seen for 20+ years. I was also able to say goodbye to an uncle who is dying. What a blessing 🙌 🙏

I took the plunge and quickly moved my living space. After a long period of frustration. Something that has been the root of many problems in our marriage. After years of talking about it, fighting about it, stressing about the financial challenges, the where and when. Manifesting a much needed change. We finally made it happen oddly during this retrograde and in the midst of Lions Gate. 🌞🥂💖🌈
