An introduction to tarot

Tarot is often misunderstood as something mystical or predictive, but at its core, tarot is a tool for clarity, reflection, and self understanding 💭. It works by using symbolic imagery to mirror what is happening internally and externally in your life, helping you make sense of emotions, patterns, and choices. Tarot does not take away your free will, this is the biggest misconception. Instead, it supports you in reconnecting with your intuition so you can move forward with confidence and intention. It also reflects your current thoughts or feelings. This is likely who you get card that indicate challenge (example the 10 of ⚔️ ) when your feeling upset, angry etc
Using tarot begins with a question or focus. Start simple with ‘what’s my lesson for today?’ Or ‘what do I need to know right now?’ Don’t jump in with ‘what’s my life purpose?’ 🤣
Your questions might be about relationships, work, personal growth, or a transition you are navigating. The cards drawn do not tell you what you must do. They highlight themes, energies, and influences around the situation so you can see it from a clearer, more grounded perspective. Tarot works best when approached with openness and curiosity rather than fear or expectation. Use it as your inner voice, a whisper of guidance- rather than literal.
The reason tarot is so powerful is because it speaks in symbols 🎴 Our minds often understand imagery and metaphor more deeply than direct advice. Tarot helps bring unconscious thoughts and feelings into awareness, allowing insight to surface gently and honestly. Many people find that tarot validates what they already sense but have not yet put into words. And deep
down, you know what you want to do anyway ✨
As a professional a tarot reader and mindset coach. My approach to tarot is supportive, grounded, and empowering. I do not read to predict the future. I read to help you understand your current energy, recognise patterns, and see what is available to you moving forward. I believe tarot is most powerful when combined with self trust and practical reflection.
People come to tarot when they are at a crossroads, feeling uncertain, or ready for change. Tarot offers a pause, a moment to listen inwardly, and a chance to choose your next step with clarity. Used intentionally, tarot becomes less about answers and more about alignment, self awareness, and growth.
