The Moon Between Us

There are moments in life that quietly change you — moments that feel both cosmic and deeply human. For me, that moment began not under a telescope or in an astrology book, but in the glow of my phone screen as I spoke with someone who lived a world away.

When I met my girlfriend — oceans between us, hours apart — I didn’t expect the Moon to become our meeting place. Yet, one night, while we were both staring up at the same sky from different corners of the planet, something inside me shifted. I looked at the Moon and realized: she sees this same light too. 🌓

That simple thought — that the same Moon touched her world and mine — was enough to make the night feel smaller, gentler, connected. And that’s when my love for the Moon began.

A Celestial Bridge Across Distance

Long-distance love is its own kind of universe — full of quiet longing, time zones, and hope. There are nights when the distance feels endless, and others when a single beam of light feels like a hand reaching across it.

The Moon became that bridge.

When I looked up, I no longer saw only a glowing sphere in the sky — I saw her. Her laughter in the shimmer of its surface, her calm in its soft pull. The Moon became our unspoken language, our constant reminder that love doesn’t end at the border of geography. 🌙

It was in that feeling that I wrote one of my first poems:
