THE ENERGY SWEEP
WHEN THE BODY REMEMBERS WHAT THE MIND FORGETS
Article · 2 min read · ·

How long has it been since you stopped to feel your own body?
We're not talking about looking at it in the mirror or checking whether you're tired, tense, or relaxed. We're talking about something much more intimate: recognizing it as a territory of perception, presence, and connection.
We spend too much time inside our heads. We think about what happened yesterday, anticipate what will happen tomorrow, and carry conversations, worries, and emotions that may not even belong to us. Meanwhile, the body remains silent, waiting for us to listen to it again.
A gesture as simple as slowly passing your hands over your forehead, arms, chest, abdomen, or legs can become a small ritual of returning to ourselves.
In energy traditions, these movements are used symbolically to cleanse, release, and close the personal space. There's no need to make it complicated. What truly matters is the intention and attention we bring to the gesture.
Stop.
Breathe deeply.
Close your eyes.
Imagine your hands moving over your body, leaving behind the day's fatigue, accumulated emotions, worries, and what you've absorbed from your surroundings.
You don't need to fight anything. Simply let it go.
♍️ VIRGO AND THE ART OF CLEANSING
It's no coincidence that this ritual connects especially with Virgo's energy. Astrologically, Virgo is associated with order, purification, habits, care, and the ability to distinguish what serves us from what has already fulfilled its purpose.
Its message can be summed up in a simple question:
What are you holding onto that you could already let go of?
Cleansing isn't always about tidying a room. Sometimes we need to cleanse thoughts, routines, bonds, expectations, or emotions that have stayed inside us too long.
And here appears one of astrology's most interesting dimensions: not just interpreting the movements of the sky, but learning to observe how those cycles can be reflected in our everyday experience.
Because the sky can become a mirror.
And the body, the place where that mirror is felt.
ASTROLOGY THAT IS LIVED
Perhaps that's why it's becoming increasingly interesting to approach astrology that is less rigid and more experiential. An astrology that doesn't just talk about planets and signs, but invites us to observe our own rhythms.
Somatic astrology proposes precisely that perspective: learning to relate the symbolic language of the sky with what we experience in our lives and in our bodies.
Today you can try something very simple.
At the end of the day, place both hands on your chest. Breathe slowly three times and slide them down toward your arms, as if you were letting fall what you no longer want to carry with you.
Then, remain silent for a few seconds.
Don't look for answers.
Simply listen.
You may discover that cleansing doesn't always mean removing something.
Sometimes it simply means returning to yourself.
