THE BLOCKS

What blocks it and how to release it
Even when you do everything "right," there can be moments when you don't feel anything. The connection feels shut down, the channel closed, and doubts arise. This isn't a mistake. It's part of the real process.
In this chapter, we're going to clearly identify what might be interfering—not from a place of blame, but from awareness. Often, blocks don't come from what you do, but from what you carry without realizing it. This isn't about finding the perfect cause, but learning to recognize your internal signals of disconnection... and knowing what to do when they appear. Releasing isn't always about removing. Sometimes it's about letting go of demands, making space, and remembering that the connection isn't lost: it just needs to be cleared.
Doubt, fear, being hard on yourself, and confusion The most common blocks don't come from outside, but from within. They're not punishments or signs you're doing something wrong—they're reflections of what still needs understanding, rest, or integration. Doubt appears when your mind tries to control what you can only feel. The more you analyze whether the guidance is real, the less you listen to it. Doubt itself isn't a problem, but when it becomes constant, it cuts the connection. Fear often disguises itself as caution. You might fear opening too much, not knowing how to handle what you receive, or misinterpreting what you sense. Fear doesn't block the channel: it closes it momentarily so you'll look at it head-on. Being hard on yourself can also make you feel like you're not "spiritual enough" to connect, that you're not doing it right, or that you should feel more. But this connection doesn't depend on merit, only on presence. Demanding more of yourself than necessary pulls you away from real contact. And confusion is the symptom of too much internal stimulus. When you try to match what you feel with what you think you should feel, noise appears. Returning to simplicity is the key when you don't know which way to go. Limiting beliefs and mental noise Often, without realizing it, you carry ideas inside that block the connection. Some come from your environment, others from past experiences.
Questioning them clearly is part of clearing the channel. Beliefs like "I'm not capable of channeling," "I need to be completely at peace to connect," or "This isn't real if I can't see it" act as invisible filters that distort the experience. You don't need to "eliminate" them, but you do need to recognize them and stop feeding them. Mental noise also interferes. It's not always negative thoughts. Sometimes it's lists, tasks, internal dialogues, or anticipations. When your attention is divided, guidance can't land with clarity. That's why it's so important to learn to detect which thoughts repeat themselves just before, during, or after trying to connect. Simply observing them without identifying with them starts to dissolve their power.
Your guidance doesn't need you to have an empty mind.
Just enough space to listen with more attention than noise. Techniques for clearing the channel When you feel the connection becoming clouded or shutting down, don't try to force it. First, clear the channel. Here are simple but effective practices for returning to a more receptive state:
-
Focused deep breathing Take 5 slow breaths, putting all your attention on the air moving in and out. Visualize that with each exhale you release tension, and with each inhale you return to yourself. This technique reestablishes the body–presence axis.
-
Mental dumping writing Take a sheet of paper and write, unfiltered, everything in your head. It doesn't matter if it's complaints, pending tasks, or messy thoughts. The goal is to release mental load, not understand it.
-
Conscious movement Walk slowly for a few minutes, without music, without talking. Observe your surroundings, your body, and your steps. Simple physical movement helps release stagnant energy and calm the nervous system.
-
Opening declaration In a low voice or mentally, repeat a clear phrase: "I release what interferes. I open myself to receive only what comes from truth." This small act reinforces your channel and your intention.
-
Intentional rest Sometimes the best spiritual act is to stop. Sleep, don't force things, go out and breathe. Clarity needs space. Give your connection the rest it needs to renew itself. These techniques aren't mandatory steps—they're available resources. Use whichever you need at the right moment. The lighter your channel is, the more natural the connection will be. Exercise: Personal diagnosis + guided release Suggested duration: 10–15 minutes Objective: Identify the main block in your channel and free up internal space so the connection flows more clearly.
Part 1 – Personal diagnosis Take your notebook or journal. Find a quiet place where you can be without interruptions. Take three deep breaths before starting. Then answer the following questions honestly. Don't overthink it. Write whatever comes up first.
-
What have I been struggling to feel or receive lately?
-
Is there an emotion that repeats when I try to connect (fear, doubt, frustration, anxiety)?
-
What thoughts appear just before, during, or after trying to connect?
-
Do I demand too much of myself when trying to have a spiritual experience? What do I tell myself internally if I "don't feel anything"?
-
What belief or idea about myself might be interfering? (Example: "I'm not sensitive enough," "This isn't for me," "I'm making it up") 6. What part of me needs more compassion right now? Once you've answered, take a moment to read what you wrote. Don't judge it. Just observe it the way you'd look honestly at your own map.
Part 2 – Guided release (active visualization) Now close your eyes and sit in a comfortable position. Breathe in deeply... exhale slowly. Do this three times. Imagine that in front of you appears a kind of sphere, container, or space of soft light. This sphere is there to help you let go of what you no longer need to carry. Visualize that each block you wrote about—thoughts, emotions, demands—transforms into small stones or fragments of energy that you can place in this sphere. Do it calmly. One by one, without rushing. When you're finished, visualize how this sphere gently rises and disappears, taking with it everything you don't need. Not as punishment, but as release. Now place your hand on the center of your chest and say internally: "Today I release what no longer serves me. I free myself from the weight that doesn't belong to me. I'm available to listen again from calm." Breathe. Stay in silence for a few seconds. When you're ready, slowly open your eyes.
Part 3 – Closing and anchoring To close, write a phrase that represents your new disposition. An affirmation to remind you that you don't need to be perfect to connect. You just need to be available. Examples: "My channel is clear when I'm honest with myself." "I don't need to force it. Just to be." "Simple is also sacred." Keep this phrase as an anchor to return to yourself whenever you need it. Repeat this exercise whenever you feel something is interfering with your connection. Not to solve everything, but to remind yourself that you can always start again... lighter. We all go through blocks. They're not failures—they're signals for adjustment. The connection isn't lost: sometimes it just gets clouded. And when you choose to look at what weighs you down, the channel begins to clear. Every time you give yourself permission to let go, you make space to listen again with more truth. Lightness isn't superficial. It's what allows guidance to flow again.
