The New Moon holds a certain mystery. It doesn't need to show us its face to remind us that there are times when we too need to disappear for a moment from the noise, from the world, and from everything we no longer wish to carry with us.

It's the lunar phase symbolically associated with beginnings, intentions, and seeds that still remain hidden beneath the earth. And precisely because of this, the days that follow can become a perfect moment to perform a small ritual of energetic cleansing.

A ritual bath after the New Moon can be understood as an act of renewal: letting the water symbolically carry away what weighs us down and preparing our energetic field for what we wish to attract.

This isn't about instant magic or supernatural promises. It's, above all, a spiritual practice of intention, presence, and connection with oneself.

WATER AS THRESHOLD

Since ancient times, water has held a special place in countless spiritual traditions. It represents movement, purification, and transformation.

To prepare this bath, you can use warm water and add a handful of sea salt or coarse salt. If you wish, add some aromatic plants like rosemary, lavender, or bay leaf.

Rosemary has traditionally been associated with cleansing and protection; lavender, with calm; and bay leaf, with prosperity and the power of intention.

While preparing the bath, avoid rushing. The key lies precisely in awareness.

Step into the water and breathe deeply.

Imagine that each exhale releases tension, repetitive thoughts, worries, and emotions you no longer need to feed.

Then, visualize a soft light around your body. You don't need to imagine anything spectacular. It can simply be a feeling of calm, as if you were creating an invisible space where what you don't desire no longer finds a place.

PROTECTING IS NOT BEING AFRAID

Energetic protection shouldn't become an obsession.

Protecting yourself also means learning to recognize which people, environments, thoughts, and situations leave us drained. Sometimes we don't need a new amulet: we need to set a boundary.

During the bath you can repeat mentally:

"I release what doesn't belong to me. I return what isn't mine. I preserve my energy and open space for what is meant to grow."

Remain in silence for a few minutes.

Afterward, let the water drain slowly. As a symbolic gesture, imagine that with it disappear the accumulated burdens.

When stepping out, dry yourself without hurry and put on clean, comfortable clothes. If you want to extend the ritual, light a white candle in a safe place and remain in silence for a few minutes.

THE VIBRATION BEGINS IN YOU

After the New Moon, you don't need to constantly chase signs.

Perhaps the true ritual is simpler: sleeping better, speaking to yourself more kindly, organizing your space, distancing yourself from what wears you down, and carefully choosing where you place your attention.

Because our energy also transforms when our way of seeing changes.

The New Moon doesn't ask us to have all the answers. It reminds us of something far more powerful: every cycle begins in a dark place before becoming light.

And perhaps that bath is precisely that.

A small threshold.

A pause between what ends and what is still beginning to be born.
