A journey of remembrance, healing, and coming home to the self

My path to enlightenment did not arrive all at once, and it did not come from striving to become something more. It came from remembering who I already was.

For much of my life, I moved through the world with a deep sensitivity—feeling everything, holding space instinctively, loving fiercely. I didn’t always have language for this, only a quiet knowing that there was more beneath the surface of daily life. More depth. More truth. More connection. That knowing eventually led me inward.

I began to study myself through stillness. A silent meditation retreat taught me how much wisdom lives in quiet, how the mind softens when it is no longer asked to perform. In that silence, I met myself with honesty and tenderness. I learned that peace is not something we achieve—it’s something we allow.

Self-compassion became a turning point. I realized that true healing does not come from fixing what is broken, but from loving what has been wounded. As I learned to sit with my own pain without judgment, something opened. My heart expanded. The way I held myself became the way I wanted to hold others.

My spiritual education deepened through clairvoyance classes and Reiki, where I learned to trust subtle energy, intuition, and the intelligence of the body and soul. I remembered that healing is not something I do to others—it is something I facilitate by creating safety, presence, and love. Energy moves where it is welcomed.

Along the way, I discovered that my spirituality is not confined to meditation cushions or classrooms. It lives in my body. It flows through song, through dance, through bare feet on the earth and sunlight on my skin. Nature reminds me of truth effortlessly. Movement brings me home. Joy is one of my greatest teachers.

Today, I share what I have lived. As a meditation teacher on Insight Timer, I create spaces where others can slow down, breathe, and reconnect with themselves. My offerings are gentle, nurturing, and rooted in lived experience. I do not walk ahead of others as an authority—I walk beside them as a fellow human who has learned how to listen.

I am a healer because I choose presence.

I am a guide because I have learned to trust.

I am here because I believe every person carries their own light, sometimes just waiting to be seen.

My path to enlightenment continues, moment by moment. And it is my deepest joy to help others remember that their path is already unfolding too.
