There's something different about having a birthday during Gemini season.

Perhaps because Gemini is wind, movement, constant transformation. Nothing stays the same for long under this energy. And I feel this deeply every time May comes to an end and the 30th quietly approaches on the calendar.

It's as if the universe begins to whisper changes before my new return to the Sun even happens.

Gemini season doesn't arrive heavily. It arrives dancing. It brings questions, restlessness, racing thoughts, old memories, and an almost inevitable need to reinvent myself. And honestly, each birthday of mine feels less about aging and more about crossing inner portals.

While the world blooms outside, I bloom within.

There's something melancholic and beautiful about completing another cycle. I like to think that each birthday is like a new autumn of the soulโ€”not in the sense of ending, but of maturity. Trees don't suffer when they let their leaves fall. They understand that certain cycles need to end so life can keep breathing.

And perhaps growing is exactly that.

Letting go of old versions of myself.

Gemini season makes me look back and realize how many women I've been throughout the years. Some survived. Some got lost. Some were born from pain. Others were born from love. But all of them brought me here.

More aware.

More intuitive.

More whole.

Gemini is a sign connected to the mind, communication, and the multiple versions that live within us. During this season, I feel my thoughts more alive, my creativity more intense, and my desire for expression almost impossible to contain. It's as if my soul wanted to speak everything that's been stored away for months.

Writing becomes healing.

Talking becomes liberation.

Silence becomes necessary.

At the same time, this energy can also bring anxiety, mental overwhelm, and difficulty staying present. That's why I learned that my return to the Sun needs to be a ritual of reconnection. A moment to slow down before starting again.

Every year, near my birthday, I like to ask myself:

โ€” Who was I in this cycle?

โ€” What still makes sense to carry?

โ€” Who am I becoming now?

Because birthdays shouldn't be just external celebrations. They are spiritual rebirths.

Astrology calls this the Solar Return: the exact moment when the Sun returns to the same degree it was in when we were born. And there's something deeply symbolic about that. As if the cosmos opened a new energetic spiral, offering another chance to begin again with more awareness.

Perhaps that's why I love Gemini energy so much.

It reminds me that I don't need to remain stuck in old versions of myself.

I can change.

I can start over.

I can rebuild myself as many times as necessary.

In this Gemini season, I feel I'm not just having a birthday. I'm crossing a portal between who I was and who I'm ready to become.

And perhaps growing is exactly that:

learning that each return to the Sun doesn't take us back to the same placeโ€”it takes us closer to ourselves.
