Every journey begins with a first step.
And to begin our series "7 Days, 7 Baths, 7 Herbs", I've chosen an herb that holds a special place in natural magic: rosemary.
Throughout history, this herb has been used across different cultures for purification, protection, and spiritual strengthening. In natural witchcraft, it's considered a powerful ally for renewing energy, clearing the mind, and making space for new beginnings.
Whenever I feel my energy is heavy or sense I need a fresh start, rosemary is one of the first herbs I turn to.
The Symbolism of Rosemary
Rosemary is traditionally associated with the Fire element and solar energy.
Its vibration is expansive, stimulating, and purifying, and it's widely used for:
๐ฟ Energy cleansing.
โ๏ธ Mental clarity.
๐ก๏ธ Spiritual protection.
โจ Opening pathways.
๐ Renewal of vital force.
It's an herb that invites us to leave behind what no longer serves our journey and move forward with greater lightness.
How to Prepare the Bath
You will need:
- 1 liter of water.
- A handful of fresh or dried rosemary.
Bring the water to a boil.
Turn off the heat, add the rosemary, cover the container, and let it steep for about 10 minutes.
After straining, wait until the temperature is comfortable.
After your regular shower, slowly pour the infusion from your neck downward.
As the water flows down your body, visualize all stagnant energy dissolving and making way for vitality, confidence, and light.
A Simple Ritual
Before beginning the bath, hold the container with both hands and set a simple intention:
"May this bath purify my body, mind, and spirit. May all energy that has fulfilled its purpose be transformed into wisdom, opening space for new paths, new opportunities, and new blessings."
Take three deep breaths and allow yourself to experience this moment with full presence.
Affirmation of the Day
"I welcome this new cycle with courage, clarity, and confidence. All that no longer belongs to my path is released with gratitude, and I open my heart to new possibilities."
An Invitation to Begin Again
The magic of herbs lies not only in their properties but also in the intention we bring to working with them.
Rosemary reminds us that renewal doesn't mean erasing the past, but allowing it to transform into wisdom that sustains our next steps.
May this be the beginning of a week of self-care, connection with nature, and spiritual strengthening.
We'll meet again tomorrow for Day 2, when we'll discover the nurturing energy of lavender and its power to bring peace, balance, and serenity to the heart.
