THE MOON THAT AWAKENS THE FIRE
September 26 · Full Moon in Aries

Some moons light the way. Others force us to face ourselves directly.
On September 26, the Moon will reach fullness in Aries, while the Sun transits through Libra. An opposition that draws a question across the sky, as simple as it is profound: how much of yourself are you leaving behind to keep the peace with others?
Astrologically, this Full Moon is positioned at 3°37′ Aries, on the Aries-Libra axis: the self versus the we, personal desire versus the balance of relationships.
Aries doesn't ask permission to exist. It is the first fire, the impulse that precedes words, the spark that appears when something within us says: enough waiting.
But this Moon isn't about acting without thinking. It's about reclaiming the right to choose.
It may be a magnificent night to ask yourself what desire you've silenced, what decision you've postponed, or what part of you needs to reclaim its own place.
And there's something especially beautiful about this lunation: it arrives just days after the autumn equinox, when nature begins to shed what has already fulfilled its cycle. It's a harvest Moon: not only of what we've achieved, but also of what we've learned.
THE COLOR: GARNET RED
For this night, choose garnet red.
Not an explosive red, but a deep one, like the color of an ember when it appears dormant yet still holds fire.
You can incorporate it through a garment, a stone, a ribbon, or even in a small candle. Symbolically, it represents strength that doesn't need to prove anything.
FIRE AND MOON BATH
Prepare a bath with sea salt, rosemary, and red rose petals.
While the water fills the tub, place a red or garnet candle nearby. Enter slowly and remain in silence for a few minutes.
Imagine the water carrying away three things: the fear of disappointing, the need to please, and that which you've been postponing for too long.
Then, before getting out, place one hand over your heart and another over your abdomen and repeat:
"I choose myself without abandoning anyone.
I listen to myself without ceasing to love.
I move forward without asking my fear for permission."
A SMALL RITUAL FOR THAT NIGHT
On a piece of paper, write a single sentence:
"I am no longer willing to…"
Complete it with what you truly want to leave behind.
Fold the paper and place it under a stone throughout the night. The next morning, tear it into small pieces and discard it.
You don't need grand ceremonies. Sometimes the true ritual is simply to stop negotiating with what you know deep in your soul.
THE ARIES AMULET
Find a carnelian.
Traditionally linked to fire, vitality, and impulse, it can become a small personal reminder during these days.
Hold it for a few seconds under the moonlight and formulate a specific intention. Don't ask for ten things. Choose one.
Because this Moon seems to whisper something very ancient:
you don't need to become someone else to begin again.
Perhaps you only need to remember who you were before you started dimming your own fire.
And when the Moon is fully lit in the September sky, look up.
Perhaps it's not there to tell you what to do.
Perhaps it's there to remind you that you too have a light that no one can ignite for you.
