The Beaver Supermoon in Taurus

On November 5, 2025, at 13:19 UTC, the Super Full Moon in Taurus rises, bathing the sky in radiant light and gently reminding us to stay calm, centered, and rooted within ourselves.

To begin with, this is the second and brightest Supermoon in a trilogy — a celestial spectacle where the Moon appears larger, fuller, and more radiant than at any other time this year. A “Supermoon” occurs when the Moon reaches its closest point to Earth in orbit, known as perigee, making it shine up to 14% bigger and 30% brighter than the faintest Full Moon of the year, according to NASA.

The November Full Moon is known by many names — Frost Moon, Freezing Moon, Mourning Moon (Celtic tradition), and Digging Moon (for bears digging dens), and most commonly, the Beaver Moon.
