Meeting my Partner on my Moon Line

Serendipity? Or written in the stars?

The 7 month curse is something you'd hear me joke about. No one would outlast it. Or in all honesty, I'd push them away right around that time. A trail of broken hearts, yet my heart would be fine, because no one truly came close enough.

I'm not much of a valentines day person. Being a Pisces Sun and Cancer Moon, it's not that I don't appreciate the romance, because gosh I do! It's just a tad too commercial for me. However, my anniversary (yes, that automatically means my curse has been broken) is right around these days, so it has become a soppy and dreamy week for me none the less.

A perfect moment to reminisce about how my astrocartography map showed where and when I was going to meet my partner all along, before I even knew it.

Context: A Love Story

It's just over four years ago that I found the one that stuck. Or rather, he found me. I wasn't so sure at first, but he didn't give up so easily. Good on him.

I had grown up on an island in the Caribbean, yet a few years before our meeting, I moved back to my birth country for a job.

He wasn't from there. In fact, he was from the other side of the world, a country I had longed to visit for years, yet I never reached it. But he moved, for a job at the very same company, and landed directly on my Moon line.

He didn't know it. I didn't know it. Yet the attraction was undeniable. It was a classic office romance, sneaking around with cute notes and glances (did I mention he's a Pisces too?).

The Power of a Moon Line

Our Astrocartography map shows lots of lines, spread around the globe that activate different stories in different places.

If this topic is new to you, you'll enjoy my earlier article where I go into the basics!

At a glance: each line is a planet (Sun, Moon, Venus etc.) paired with an angle:

  • AS - the self
  • DS - relationships
  • MC - career &reputation
  • IC - home & family

This means, for example, that a Sun AS line tells a story of confidence and visibility (the Sun) within the self (AS). A great line to go to if you need a bit of a confidence boost and want to step into your power.

So near my home country runs my Moon line on the... you guessed it, DS angle. On my Moon DS line I found a partnership that aligned with my needs and created a true emotional connection.

Here's what my Moon lines look like on my map:

Your Personal Touch

Does this mean that finding your dream partner through your astrocartography map is that easy?

Luckily not! Otherwise we'd constantly be meeting new deep connections on our Moon line, that would get a bit busy ;).

There are lots of factors that combine to make such a story a reality. To name a few:

  • What planets are in your 7th house of partnerships?
  • What planet rules your 7th house?
  • Venus - the Venus DS line as well as the ruler of your natal Venus.
  • Paran lines
  • Timing (!!)

When it all Comes Together

My Moon is in my 7th house of relationships.

My Moon is also in Cancer (the sign it has rulership over).

Plus, the timing aligned.

So is the fact that I met my partner on my Moon line serendipitous? Or was it already written in the stars?

But Wait... There's More

Yes we met on my Moon line. Yet what about where he was born?

I had a look and smiled.

Right by the city where he was born, I have my Venus AS line. A line that makes me feel feminine and abundant... within myself. Which is how he makes me feel (aww). Venus lines are always great indicators of relationships, even when it's on the AS angle.

And slightly further off: my Chiron DS line. This one brought some of the necessary challenges that we have already been through in our relationship. The asteroid Chiron is also called the wounded healer. There might be some pain and trauma involved, but there is a healing process with a beautiful outcome. And indeed, the challenges were tough, but they brought us closer.

Fun fact: a line doesn't have to go directly through the city for it to have an impact. My Chiron DS line is 430 miles (700 km) away from his hometown. Weak, but present.

Your Map Tells Your Story

This is one of the many reasons I love guiding people through Astrocartography. While it's very fun and exciting to explore your map, more so it is a tool that we can use to answer real-life questions. Questions and blocks we deal with on a daily basis and have a major impact on our lives.

Would you like to understand your own love story?

Or would you like to understand why love seems to always be out of reach?

And perhaps... where and when you might be finding your person?

You don't have to figure it all out alone.
