The Empress Within...
Manifesting Through Love and Alignment
Article · 3 min read · ·
Introduction—The Empress card is the third in the Major Arcana and is associated with the creative force that resides within all of us—love.
Why the Empress Card: All of us want to manifest something in our lives—be it love, money, success, a house, peace, etc. However, we go about it by trying to force our way through, imposing ideas when we should be tapping into something deeper: ourselves. The reality is that consciousness created us and the whole universe; thus, we must go inward.

The Empress Within ...Manifesting Through Love and Alignment
“Our way of thinking creates good or bad outcomes.”
― Stephen Richards
Why haven't I manifested the Things I want?
This is what I call the million-dollar question—the one so many people wrestle with: What am I missing?
We’ve watched manifestation videos, read books, listened to soundwaves, attended seminars, and saged our homes—and still, something feels off. Despite all the effort, the results don’t quite match the desire.
The answer? Alignment.
The Empress card, the third in the Major Arcana, embodies the energy of creation. Ruled by Venus, she represents our innate capacity to love and nurture. She is the archetype of the divine mother—Gaia—who offers abundance in due season. She is the rich, fertile ground from which dreams and ideas take root. She is our vivid imagination.
But somewhere along the way, many of us lost touch with that natural creative force. We begin to believe that power lives outside of us—in a method, a guru, or a ritual. While those tools may help guide us, the truth is, it's always been us. It’s our creative energy, our connection to love and inner wisdom, that brings things into being.
When we return to alignment with that truth, we no longer chase—we create.
Ways to reconnect and get into alignment:
Self-Contemplation:
Contemplation allows us to sort things out. It’s like cleaning out a closet or the fridge: What can be kept (things connected to the life you want)? What needs to be thrown away (things that are not in alignment with it)?
The power of contemplation lies in its ability to help us focus on a single image, so we can begin to direct energy toward it. When there’s too much noise in our conscious mind, the subconscious simply creates from whatever it’s being fed. Making contemplation a daily practice helps quiet that noise and brings more clarity to the vision—or life—you truly want.
Check-in with how you feel:
What emotions come up when you start getting clarity around your vision? Is it excitement? Fear? Excitement followed by fear?
This matters because our emotions act as a map—revealing what has been imprinted on us and what the subconscious is currently operating from. If negative emotions come up, don’t run from them or get discouraged. That’s just your subconscious responding: “Wait, this is what’s in here—what do you mean you want something different?”
Face it head-on. This exercise brings us back to our authentic nature. We may even realize that what we’ve been striving for was never really ours to begin with.
Love Yourself Through It
How you view yourself throughout this process matters deeply. You can desire all the things, clear out your subconscious clutter, and hold a crystal-clear vision—but if you don’t believe you deserve it, you’re living out of alignment with yourself. And when you’re out of alignment, it won’t flow.
This work is about aligning your subconscious, your higher self, and your Divine Will. It might take time—after all, we’ve been conditioned to believe so many things that simply aren’t true. So be kind to yourself.
You have the power to define your vision differently. Own that.
Love,
Raphaella
