🌑 Manifesting is also about knowing what phase you're in
Article · 3 min read ·
Not everything in your life is meant to progress at the same time.
And understanding that... completely changes how you try to manifest.
Because sometimes it's not that you aren't getting what you want.
It's that you're trying to bloom... in a phase meant for rest.
🌒 Not every phase is for creating
We live with this idea that we should always be doing something:
manifesting
advancing
improving
building
But nature doesn't work that way.
Neither does the moon.
From behavioral psychology, authors like James Clear explain that growth isn't linear, but cyclical: there are phases of action and phases of recovery that are equally necessary to sustain any change.
And yet, we expect ourselves to always be expanding.
🌑 There are phases where you're not manifesting... you're understanding
The new moon is invisible.
And yet, that's where everything begins.
It's an uncomfortable phase, because there's no clarity, no visible results.
Only a feeling of emptiness.
But that emptiness isn't absence.
It's space.
The psychologist Carl Jung spoke about the importance of the "shadow": those internal parts we don't see, but that deeply influence our decisions.
And often, these dark phases aren't setbacks.
They're integration.
🌓 Wanting to advance in every phase is also misalignment
One of the most common mistakes in manifestation is this:
wanting results when the process isn't ready yet.
From neuroscience, it's been studied how the brain needs time to consolidate changes (what's known as neuroplasticity). It's not enough to decide something once; the system needs repetition, rest, and adaptation to sustain it.
Forcing results before that process... creates frustration.
Not because you're failing.
But because you're ignoring the natural rhythm of change.
🌕 There are moments when everything feels clear... and others when it doesn't
The full moon is expansion.
That's when everything feels more intense:
emotions
decisions
the urge to act
But even sustained intensity is exhausting.
Studies on emotional regulation, like those developed by Lisa Feldman Barrett, show that our emotions aren't constant, but states that fluctuate according to multiple internal and external factors.
You can't expect clarity from yourself all the time.
Because you're not designed for that.
🌘 Manifesting is also knowing when to let go
There are phases where growth isn't about doing more...
but about letting go.
Letting go isn't losing.
It's reorganizing.
From psychology, the concept of detachment relates to the ability to adapt to change without getting stuck in what no longer works.
And that's also manifesting.
Because what you don't let go of...
takes up space that could be something new.
🌫️ You're not behind... you're in your cycle
Comparing yourself to others is forgetting something important:
each person is in a different phase.
Human development doesn't happen at the same pace for everyone.
And pretending it does... is one of the main sources of anxiety.
You're not late.
You're not failing.
You're going through a process that doesn't look complete yet.
🔮 Final reflection
Maybe manifesting isn't just about thinking about what you want.
Maybe it's learning to observe yourself
and recognize what moment you're in.
Because not everything in you needs to grow at the same time.
There are parts that are beginning.
Others that are closing.
And others... that are simply resting.
And when you stop fighting your phase,
everything starts to feel a bit calmer.
Like the moon...
that's never in a hurry,
and yet, it always transforms. 🌙✨
