When we connect with someone in any type of relationship, whether it is love, coworkers, mentors, therapists, or even pets, an energetic cord forms between you and that other soul. It sounds comforting at first, but let let us dive deeper into what an energetic cord actually is.

An energetic cord, sometimes called an etheric cord, is exactly what it sounds like: a pipeline made of pure energy stretching from one person to another. Because they are made beyond the physical realm, these cords exist beyond space and time, even reaching into the astral plane. They allow the transmission of information, emotions, and energy to flow back and forth, acting almost like a spiritual umbilical cord.

Take two candles, one representing you and one representing the other person, with your names written on them, and tie a wool string between them.
