Money Bowl: Simple Magic of Abundance

A gentle ritual to invite prosperity into your life

Abundance magic doesn’t have to be complicated. Sometimes the most powerful practices are the simplest ones - those that quietly live with us, becoming part of our everyday rhythm. A money bowl is exactly that kind of magic. It’s not about forcing wealth or controlling outcomes, but about creating a welcoming space for prosperity to arrive naturally and steadily.

A money bowl works as an energetic container. It holds your intention, symbols of abundance, and your ongoing attention.

Finding your vessel

Any bowl can become a money bowl, but natural materials like wood, ceramic, or glass tend to hold energy especially well. Your vessel represents the container of your prosperity, so choose one that feels stable, valuable, and pleasant to touch. Trust your intuition - if a bowl feels “right,” it usually is.

Choosing its home

Place your money bowl somewhere connected to wealth and productivity. This might be the far left corner of your home (often associated with money energy), your work desk, or near your altar. What matters most is that you see it regularly. Visibility keeps the intention alive.

Building the base

Begin with a grounding layer. Uncooked rice, salt, sand, coffee, or earth all work beautifully. This base symbolizes fertile soil - stability, nourishment, and the foundation on which abundance can grow. Think of it as giving your spell something solid to root into.

Adding symbols of abundance

Now build your bowl intuitively. Add items that feel prosperous to you: coins or banknotes, bay leaves, cinnamon sticks, basil, cloves, green crystals, or a written intention. These symbols don’t need to be expensive - their power lies in meaning, not cost.

Charging the bowl with intention

Hold the bowl in both hands. Take a few slow breaths and focus on your financial intention. Charging means aligning the energy of the bowl with your desired outcome. Let your intention be clear, positive, and open-ended, allowing abundance to arrive in supportive and unexpected ways.

Feeding your money bowl

Money bowls thrive on motion. Feeding keeps the energy flowing and prevents stagnation. Once a week or once a month, add a coin, refresh herbs, or quietly repeat an affirmation. Even a moment of gratitude can be a form of nourishment.

Refreshing when needed

If herbs dry out, energy feels heavy, or your goals change - refresh the bowl. Clean it, replace old elements, and rewrite your intention. A money bowl is not static; it grows as you do.

My personal Money Bowl ritual

I begin by cleansing the space with incense and focusing my mind on financial well-being. I pour uncooked rice into the bowl, sometimes adding a touch of green coloring for prosperity. Cinnamon sticks are placed around the rice (for fast success and prosperity), creating a circle of warmth and momentum.

On a bay leaf (for prosperity), I write my financial goal and place it gently into the rice. I add dried basil and cloves (for good luck, financial success and prosperity), then include local coins or banknotes. Holding the bowl in my hands, I say:

“Money comes to me easily and generously. Money works for me. Every time I want money, it comes to me threefold.”

I finish the ritual by lighting a green candle and allowing it to burn safely to the end.

Abundance as a relationship

A money bowl is not about control - it’s about connection. When treated with care and attention, it becomes a reminder that abundance responds to presence, consistency, and trust. Let your bowl be a quiet companion on your path toward stability, generosity, and flow.

It’s a good day for me to start working on my own money bowl for my life and my path towards a future would be better and less stressful if it was a little bit easier where financially I could get a little bit of money to pay my bills and get some food and things that I need to live a healthy and happy life it’s just a positive attitude towards my goals that I’m working on
