We've reached the final day of our journey.

Throughout this week, each crystal has led us down a different path: clarity, intuition, love, prosperity, courage, and purification.

Today we close this cycle with a crystal that invites us to meet our own truth: Black Obsidian.

Formed from the rapid cooling of volcanic lava, Obsidian carries the transformative power of fire and Earth. In natural witchcraft, it's recognized as a powerful ally in energetic protection, grounding, and the process of self-discovery.

Whenever I feel the need to strengthen myself or understand deeper aspects of myself, I turn to Obsidian. It doesn't mask what we feel. On the contrary, it helps us see what needs to be embraced, transformed, and left behind.

The Symbolism of Black Obsidian

With its dark, shiny surface, Obsidian symbolizes protection, truth, and renewal.

Traditionally, it's used to:

🖤 Strengthen energetic protection.

🌑 Support grounding.

✨ Dissolve stagnant energies.

🛡️ Encourage self-awareness.

🔥 Aid in closing cycles.

Its energy is intense and transformative, ideal for moments when we feel it's time to leave the past behind and follow a new path.

How to Cleanse and Energize

I like to cleanse my Obsidian under running water, always visualizing that all accumulated energy is being released.

Afterward, I usually place it on a selenite plate for a few hours or under moonlight.

I also like to cleanse it with the smoke of herbs like rosemary, sage, or rue.

How I Use It in My Daily Life

I always carry a small Obsidian with me when I know I'll be in very busy or emotionally intense environments.

I also like to use it during moments of reflection, when I need to understand patterns I no longer wish to repeat.

For me, it represents the courage to look within and the wisdom to transform what has already served its purpose.

The Transformation Ritual

Choose a moment when you can remain in silence for a few minutes.

Hold the Obsidian between your hands.

Breathe deeply.

Visualize roots growing from the soles of your feet and penetrating deep into the Earth.

Feel yourself firm, secure, and present.

Then ask yourself:

"What am I ready to let go of?"

Allow thoughts and emotions to arise naturally.

Then write on a piece of paper everything you wish to close: fears, habits, beliefs, or situations that no longer make sense.

When finished, tear the paper into small pieces or dispose of it mindfully, symbolizing the closing of this cycle.

Give thanks for the strength gained throughout the journey.
