If there's one candle that's always present on my altar, it's the white candle.

It accompanies me in moments of silence, in my prayers, and whenever I feel the need to clear the energies and start anew.

• In gratitude for blessings received.

More important than the candle is the intention placed in its flame.

A Simple Ritual of Light and Protection

Choose a moment when you can be at peace.

Light a white candle in a safe place.

Take several deep breaths and observe the flame for a few moments.

While it remains lit, imagine a white light enveloping your entire body, filling your mind, your heart, and the entire space around you.

Then, say aloud:

"May this light purify my paths, strengthen my faith, and illuminate all that needs to blossom in my life."

Remain for a few minutes in silence, simply contemplating the flame.

A Reflection for This First Day

In witchcraft, the candle's flame represents the union between the material and spiritual worlds.

It reminds us that even on the darkest nights, a small light is capable of completely transforming the landscape.

We don't need to illuminate the entire world all at once.

It's enough to keep the light within us burning.

And, gradually, it will find its way.
