🌹 THE DANCE OF VENUS

Why returning to the beginning doesn’t mean repeating yourself

Did you know there’s a flower pattern in the sky above us, traced by one of the planets in our solar system?

Some planetary movements are easy to observe. Others reveal unexpected beauty and artistry.

Venus is a celestial artist.

Venus travels around the Sun, and if you watch her over several years, you can see her tracing a stunning pattern in the sky.

A five-pointed rose.

And then Venus’s movement begins to look like a beautiful dance.

✨ WHAT IS THE “ROSE OF VENUS”

In my last article, I talked about the deeper meaning of the number 13, and now it’s making itself known again.

Over eight Earth years, Venus completes almost thirteen orbits around the Sun.

8 and 13. Two consecutive Fibonacci numbers.

A remarkable ratio that can also be seen in Venus’s movement relative to Earth.

About five inferior conjunctions of Venus with the Sun occur over roughly the same period. Mark these points on a celestial map, and they form a shape resembling a five-petaled flower.

Venus’s movement becomes a pattern.

🌙 A TURNING POINT

On October 24, 2026, Venus passed through an inferior conjunction with the Sun.

From an Earth-based observer’s perspective, she lies between Earth and the Sun, hidden in its glare.

During this period, Venus disappears from the evening sky, then reappears before dawn after a while—as the morning star.

In ancient times, people thought they were two different stars.

🔥 DEATH AND REBIRTH

In some astrological traditions, Venus’s inferior conjunction with the Sun is interpreted symbolically as death and rebirth.

She disappears… Then, after a while, she returns.

The same is true in our lives. A period of invisibility doesn’t necessarily mean the end. Sometimes it’s a time when we can pause, recharge, and figure out where we want to go next.

🌀 A CELESTIAL SPIRAL

As Venus completes the rose pattern, she begins a new movement that doesn’t exactly retrace the old path. The pattern shifts ever so slightly over time, carrying the whole system into a new turn of the cosmic spiral.

Everything moves in cycles, but never quite in the same way, just as in our lives.

Sometimes we, too, find ourselves facing familiar situations.

We learn to choose again. We set boundaries again. We go through an ending and a new beginning. But can we see something new in a familiar question? Can we make a different decision in time to avoid repeating an old mistake?

This is where room for growth opens up.

Not every new cycle automatically lifts us higher. But every new cycle can be a chance to experience something familiar differently.

Venus returns to her old pattern—and continues on her way.

And we can return to familiar themes without staying the same.

🌹 WHAT THE ROSE OF VENUS REMINDS US

In astrology, Venus is associated with love, beauty, and relationships.

Her celestial cycle can be a beautiful metaphor for the changes that happen in our lives.

We don’t have to be the same all the time.

There are periods of activity and blossoming. There are periods of tiredness and quiet. And there are moments when we want to let go of the past and start over, while giving ourselves time to recover and pause.

Each of us has our own personal dance through life.

But sometimes it really helps to remind ourselves that we don’t have to stay the same just because we once chose a certain path.

We can change our minds. Rethink what we want. Let go of what no longer brings joy to our lives. Start over—even if it feels like we’ve been here before.

We can change.

🕯️ A PRACTICE: AN EVENING WITH VENUS

Friday is Venus’s day. And that’s a lovely reason to treat yourself to a little celebration.

If you’re drawn to the symbolism:

  • one candle (ideally green or pink),
  • a stone associated with love or beauty in a tradition you’re familiar with (this could be rose quartz or moonstone),
  • a beautiful picture of a rose or an image of Venus,
  • a quiet place.

Sometimes lighting a candle is enough—the most important thing is the mindset you bring to it.

Light the candle. Watch the flame. Take a few deep breaths.

Hold the stone in your hand. Look at the image of Venus. Think about beauty, love, and the values in your life.

Close your eyes and say to yourself or out loud: “I notice what matters to me. I can change and still be myself. I choose to treat myself with care and respect.”

Sit quietly for a while.

Thank yourself.

After a while, ask yourself these questions to help you find a direction for what comes next.

✨ What truly matters to me right now?
✨ What in my life no longer reflects who I am now?
✨ What is worth keeping so I can continue on my path with ease?

Listen to yourself; the answers will surely come.

Venus disappears from sight, then reappears in the morning sky after a while.

This is a time of change and of seeing familiar things from a different angle. We don’t always need to rush things.

We don’t always need to know right away what comes next. Let’s give things time.

Let yourself dance your own unique dance through life, staying in harmony with yourself and savoring the moment.

Every like 🌙 or comment under the article is an important exchange of energy that helps this space keep living and shining.

Thank you for being in tune with us.
