My Astro Map Waved a Giant Flag in My Face

Cape Town these past two weeks have been the trip I didn't know I needed.

I went for family reasons and came out a stronger business owner.

I was SO surprised and confused.

But actually... my astrocartography map showed it all along.

I just didn't see it!

The other night we were having a gentle evening on the couch and I had a realisation. It really was one of those light bulb moments from the cartoons.

I ran upstairs to get my laptop and opened my astrocartography map.

And I was right. I couldn't believe it, and honestly, I am still blown a way.

Let me take you back to Turkey in 2015.

I was a professional kiteboarder and that year I received the biggest opportunity of my career.

I was asked to star in a global campaign for Turkish Airlines. With no idea what that even involved, I flew there and found myself on a huge set with a crew of 50+ people, all there to capture... me?!

We traveled the gorgeous country for three weeks, I had a personal assistant, and I co-wrote the script for the voice-over.

I felt... seen.

Months later I received a photo from an acquaintance. It was my face... on one of the biggest screens on Times Square New York.

And yes, my family and I traveled to New York instantly to go and see it in real life  😂

Years later when I discovered astrocartography, the story there was a dead giveaway: my Sun AS line runs right through Turkey.

Sun = visibility and confidence

AS = the self

Put them together and you get: Confidence and a chance to be seen for who you are.

So what does this have to do with Cape Town?

The lines are very different here, at first sight there are not many similarities.

However, I have been here multiple times now, and every time I'm here... my career takes off.

2 years ago I built my brand here and it kickstarted the growth of my astrocartography readings.

This year, I am finalising my rebranding here and am getting more aligned clients than I have ever had!

I'm meant to be here for family, but work is taking center stage (and I love it).

At first, I 'blamed' the Pluto career line I have nearby. Intense transformation in career... sure, makes sense, and definitely plays a part!

But then... I realised something I didn't see coming.

When we travel across the world, our birth chart changes (like timezones).

We call this the relocated chart.

Let's say you have your Sun in the 10th 'house' of career (meaning your career is a focus in your life).

When you travel, perhaps one location puts your Sun in the 7th house of relationships. All of a sudden, your focus is on relationships way more than on your career.

This is the reason we feel so different around the world.

Relocated charts are HUGE in determining the details of what a place means for you.

SO, when I opened my map, here is what I saw:

My relocated chart in Turkey is almost identical to my relocated chart of Cape Town.

Which means, that a similar story unfolds for me here.

It's no global campaign now, because I have evolved into a different phase of my life. This time, it's my business that I've poured my heart into for the last four years that is being taken to the next level.

Astrocartography is wildly accurate. And extremely nuanced.

I feel like this trip it waved a giant flag in my face, until I finally saw it.

Am I considering flying down here every year from now on to boost my business? Maybe 🙃
