Mercury Enters Taurus

Mercury Enters Taurus

What Your Certainty Might Be Hiding

Mercury moves into Taurus today, (May 3, 2926) and it will stay there until May 17th.

If you have been waiting for your thoughts to slow down, to feel more solid, to stop cycling through the same anxious loops, this transit offers some of that. Mercury in Taurus thinks carefully. It takes its time. It prefers to say one true thing rather than ten approximate ones.

But there is a shadow side to all that solidity, and it is worth naming honestly.

The shadow of Mercury in Taurus is the mind that has stopped questioning its own conclusions. The belief held so long it feels like fact. The opinion carried so far past its original context that it has become identity. The certainty that feels like wisdom but is actually the mind refusing to update.

This piece is about that. About the specific kind of stuck that does not feel like stuck because it feels like knowing.

Loved this, it is something I will carry forward and question if my conclusion is still legitimate or has the person or situation changed. I will look at myself to reassess what self limiting beliefs I have. Thank you 💫💫💫

Last year it was May 10th. This year by most accounts, it’s the 2nd.

But by the almanac I use, it’s May 3rd and MoonX here has it set as that so felt that was best to stick to

I've been working through a lot of grief lately and big life transitions. This guidance has been so helpful and I look forward to journaling about it. This works really well with what I've been talking to my therapist about. Thank you so much!

Thank you Kate-twin. That brings me so much joy! I am actually compiling some reviews for both myself as a reminder and marketing. Do you mind if I save these?

You accidentally put 2926 instead of 2026.

Thanks for the alert. Unfortunately I can’t edit here once it’s published and sometimes by the time I hit submit, I’ve poured over it so many times I miss those little details. Similar in my design work, so I laugh it off and tell myself well at least they can tell ai didn’t write it! 😅

“I am not the kind of person who ____” literally stopped me in my tracks. I have a list. The things were true once, but knowing I’m not good at something definitely keeps me from trying it again. And honestly it’s easy to forget that MOST ppl aren’t great at a thing the first time they try it, that’s ok, and practice almost always equates to improvement. And ALSO that being good at a thing isn’t the only factor that makes the effort valuable. (I’m thinking of my favorite self-limiting belief, I’m not the kind of person who can make creative things. Ok- so what if the thing isn’t perfectly aesthetic. I don’t have an Etsy shop anyway 😜 Might mess around now and make some candles this week 😂❤️)
