Name the work. Specifically, not vaguely. Not “I want to be healthier” but “I’m going to walk for twenty minutes on the days I can manage it.” Not “I want to write more” but “I’m going to sit at my desk for thirty minutes, three mornings a week, regardless of whether anything good comes out.”

Give it a physical anchor. Mars in Taurus works through ritual and the senses. Light a candle when you begin the work. Put on specific shoes. Make a specific cup of something. Create a sensory cue that tells your nervous system: this is the time for the work. We do this now.
