And when it will flow again

Illustration for Closing a Cycle: Why Life Has Felt Intense

I can only speak for myself, yet I’ve heard it all around me.

Life hasn’t been easy on us.

Personally, as well as collectively.

It’s a big week, change is in the air.

We are so so close to the big shifts of the year.

Usually we look ahead, yet I feel a strong need to reflect back on the past few months.

Why?

Because this time has been setting us up for something bigger.

We have been going through the wringer in preparation for what is about to come our way.

Let this article give you some validation. And more so, let it allow yourself to feel proud of how far you’ve come.

Am I secretly talking to myself here too? Oh, absolutely.

I’ll divide it up into the bits and pieces that have been affecting us separately.

Can you see a pattern within yourself that links back to all these pieces of the puzzle?

Eclipse Season

This is always kind of back to back in February and March. Eclipses are hot points that often trigger big events, good and bad.

We truly get shaken up and often go through changes beyond our control.

It helps to see which house they took place in your chart.

We had a solar eclipse in Aquarius on February 17.

Followed by a lunar eclipse in Virgo on March 3.

What was their impact on you?

Saturn and Neptune Meet in Aries

This was a big one that largely proved its impact on a collective level in terms of the start of the war in the Middle East.

Saturn, the planet of structures and authority enters Aries, the sign of aggression and initiation.

Once there, it immediately meets up with Neptune, the planet of belief systems.

A challenging combination that has affected many.

For some of us, this Saturn shift out of Pisces into Aries meant the end of our Saturn return, yay us!

For some, it might be the beginning of it as well. Regardless, Saturn shifting signs always confronts us with new lessons to learn.

What have been your major lessons since early 2023?

Jupiter Retrograde

Since June 2025, Jupiter has been in its happy place in Cancer. The planet of luck and opportunity feels great there, so where has its support been?

It hasn’t been able to live up to its potential as it has been retrograde for the past 5 months now.

The good news: it’s moving forward again since the 14th of March and will be sure to add an amazing boost to all of us.

Mercury Retrograde

To add to it all, we went straight into Mercury Retrograde on February 26.

Now I can’t be the only one who thought they would cruise through this one.

There was so much going on already, it couldn’t be that bad!

I don’t know how you’re feeling now that we’re on the other end of it, but the planet of communication and the mind definitely brought on the necessary confusion, delays, and panic attacks again.

The Year of the Snake

Last year was a year of true shedding. The year of the snake stands for release.

In February, we finally entered the year of the fire horse. And the name says it all, we can truly expect some fiery forward motion.

We just had to get a few more hurdles out of the way first, before we were truly free to take off.

Closing the Cycle

Calendars are a funny thing.

We’d like to think that we start our new year (2026) with all our good intentions.

But we were still finishing the year of the snake as per the Chinese calendar.

Then we finally start the year of the fire horse, yet we are in the closing chapter of the astrological year.

Pisces is the last sign of the zodiac, and therefore a time of closing the cycle and integrating what we’ve learned.

What has this last astrological cycle brought you?

How has it challenged you?

And then it’s time to get ready, because from March 20, we officially enter Aries season and therefore a new astrological new year.

Not only that, Aries is a fire sign that is all about big, bold moves.

Align that with the fire horse and we’ll be unstoppable!

Yeah, It’s Been a Lot

Need I say more about why this has been a tough time?

Personally, I feel this upcoming shift deeply.

The last year has challenged me in ways I never thought possible.

As a Pisces stellium, I’m slowly making my way up from the depths of the ocean, ready to take that big, freeing breath in.

Let’s Do This

I just want to say: well done.

You’ve made it through.

It wasn’t always easy, but I bet the lessons you’ve learned were necessary to bring you exactly to where you’re meant to be.

So when is this forward momentum starting?

The answer is NOW.

Jupiter is moving forward

Mercury is moving forward from March 20

Aries season starts March 21

What has been your biggest shift?

What are you ready to ignite?

Feel free to share, I’d love to hear about it.

Love,

Annabel

I really felt the year of the snake deeply and did a lot of internal work. I am so ready for the year of the fire horse, Aries season, and Spring. My light is finally ready to shine bright!
