Do you ever wonder if you’re living in the right place?

Illustration for Astrocartography: The Power of Place

These days we have an infinite amount of choices in life, and therefore we end up in a constant state of overwhelm.

We’re constantly trying to optimize our:

  • Lives
  • Careers
  • Health
  • Relationships

Yet we rarely think about where we’re doing all this.

You may have the right strategy in the wrong place and be burning twice the amount of energy necessary.

===

Your map, your story

Imagine a world map… that shows exactly how different places make you feel. A map that puts your experiences into words. What? Yeah, I didn’t believe it either at first.

Astrocartography (also called locational astrology), is a practical tool that explains why certain places feel supportive, and others don’t.

When I say world map, do I actually mean we're looking at a map... of the world...? Yes exactly. It’s like scrolling around on google maps. And aren't we all guilty of losing ourselves in that rabbit hole sometimes?

The atolls of the Maldives?

The pyramids of Giza?

Top secret Area 51 in the US?

Yeah I see you 👀

But now... imagine that the same map is made for you

And it’s showing you how you feel everywhere in the world

  • That one holiday you loved.
  • That work trip that went horribly.
  • That dream destination you've had on your mind for years.

It's all there. Your unique map is filled with layers and layers of lines, telling those stories.

This beautiful map projects the placements of your birth chart onto a world map. As it’s based on your personal birth place, time and location, the location of the lines are completely different for everyone.

We use astrocartography every day

As you're reading this, I’d like to invite a quick visualisation.

Try to think of a place, somewhere in the world, that makes you smile. It can be a place you’ve visited, or that’s still on your list. First place that pops up.

How do you feel when you think about that place?

Now think of a place that you don’t like. A place that challenged you, something hard happened, or just simply didn’t feel good.

How does that feel?

What places mean to you is completely different to how others feel about them. They are your experiences, your stories, your energies. This is astrocartography. And subconsciously, we are working with these energies every single day.

By reading our map, we can start to understand what stories are present for us around our home, and as we travel the world. It’s giving our feelings and experiences a new language that we can use to our advantage as we navigate transitions in our life.

By looking into the past, we can understand why different locations affected us the way they did. By looking forward, we can use it to create the life of our dreams.

This year, I have settled down in my dream home, based on my personal lines 🤍. Portugal is giving me exactly what I’m needing in this phase of my life: Nourishment, stability, and community.

How to work with the planetary energies

A professional astrocartography reading can help you make major decisions such as moving abroad (down to the exact city), or planning the best timings for your upcoming trips.

However, you can already get started by yourself today.

Consider where you currently live. Maybe you were born here, or maybe you’ve lived here just a few months.

  • What do you love about living here?
  • What challenges you?
  • Does your body feel drained or energised here?
  • On a scale of 1-10, how much does it feel like home?

Through astrocartography we can start to look at our home from a new perspective. And that is the first step of stepping into a life of true alignment and purpose.

Not only within yourself, but also within the place you live.

I’ve just recently moved to a new state. I really felt that this place was going to be such a good move for my family. I have really had a hard time adjusting. The life I had before was so fulfilling in many ways, but also felt stagnant. Now I feel empty in the new state, I feel lonely, I have pain in my body like I’ve never had before and I feel drained of energy in the afternoons. Most of the time I’m struggling with depression. It’s a very see saw feeling. I’m thankful for the blessings that have come with the move but also struggle with the sadness of it.

I had this done when I was considering moving. It was super interesting, and turned out the place I had chosen was a good location for me. But I also learned that where I already live is more aligned for me. I decided to stay and am so happy that I didn’t move.
