Travel Energy

Let's look at travel as a tool for spiritual growth. Traveling is a profound tool for spiritual growth, facilitating inner transformation, self-reflection, and spiritual awakening. Through travel, we get the opportunity to connect with the universe and explore the depths of our being.

Finding the Perfect Power Place:

The act of traveling beckons us to be fully present in the moment, a fundamental aspect of spiritual practices. As we navigate unfamiliar landscapes, we are naturally drawn to observe our surroundings mindfully , to appreciate the beauty and intricacies of the world.

🙏🏽 In this heightened state of awareness, we encounter moments of awe and inspiration, fostering a deeper connection with nature, the divine, and ourselves. By diversifying our experiences and embracing various settings, we become more conscious of the existence of personally significant power places.

⛰️ What environments resonate with you? Is it modern architecture, ancient temples, majestic mountains, serene seas, or flowing rivers? Where do you feel peace and where do you experience the energy of a place that invigorates you?

🕊️ A power place for us doesn't necessarily have to be visually stunning, unconventional, or exotic. It is a place that compels us to slow down, inviting us to return time and again.
So, pack your bags, open your heart, and embark on a journey of profound transformation.

Sacred Rituals in Power Places:

Sacred Rituals in Power Places:

Engaging in rituals within power places enhances our spiritual experience.
Consider the following examples:

☀️ Sunrise or Sunset Meditation: Seek out a serene spot, be it a mountaintop, an oceanfront, or a tranquil garden, and witness the breathtaking beauty of the sun rising or setting. Engage in a mindful meditation practice, immersing yourself in the colors, sounds, and sensations of the present moment. Allow the transformative energy of the sun's journey to infuse you with renewed vitality and a deeper spiritual connection.

🌊 Elemental Cleansing Ritual: Take a moment to connect with the natural elements of earth, air, fire, and water through a cleansing ritual. Find a natural body of water, such as a lake or an ocean, and immerse yourself in its purifying essence. Visualize the water washing away any negativity or stagnant energy, and feel the rejuvenation as you emerge refreshed and spiritually cleansed.

🌙 Moonlit Ritual: Harness the mystical energy of the moon by conducting a ritual under its luminous glow. Whether it's during a full moon or a specific moon phase that resonates with you, seek out a peaceful outdoor setting and create a sacred space adorned with candles, crystals, or other meaningful objects. Engage in practices such as meditation, chanting, or journaling as you set intentions, release what no longer serves you, and invite the transformative energy of the moon into your life.

So, embrace the journey, let the power of the new places guide you, and return home with a renewed sense of your inner self and a deepened connection to the vastness of the universe.

Would you like to share your own place of power, where you feel energized and revitalized? We are genuinely intrigued and would love to hear about it! Please feel free to share your experiences in the comments below.

Gardner Lake, DownEast Maine. I live on this lake and most of my ceremonies and celebrations revolve around this body of water.

So Jealous! I just visited Maine last year for the first time and LOVED it!

I went to camp on Dear Isle, Maine for many wonderful summers. That’s where I met my spirituality in the woods. That camp even had a little clearing in a grove for “church” mornings. That place has become a state or local park. I found that info on Google maps.

To physically immerse oneself routinely in the depth of a mountain forest is by my definition going to temple or church. Revitalizing mind and body through natural alignment in nature is the purest form of energetic cleanse. Realignment of chakra and grounding one’s aura to its perfect center. The rivers edge with feet in snow melted waters. Clear as crystal. A soft breeze passing through a tired soul. To feel the earth in your hands is the epitome of life’s cycle, birthplace Any ailment healed.

Beautiful words! I’ve always felt (since childhood) that being in nature, like being inside the woods or near mountains is a place of direct spirituality and connection.

It depends on where I am because at home it is my front stoop at night where I can moon gaze no matter the phase. Or in my living room sitting adjacent to my two front windows. It displays the edge of my rooftop and treetops across the street from me. Any time of the day is wonderful for I can see the wind in all its glory making the branches dance and the leaves shake. Gratitude.

I’m a Taurus sun on the Aries cusp with a Capricorn moon living in the city; I crave a small bon fire, at night in nature or along the water somewhere. I have lots of beautiful options up here near Seattle. A quick night away “car glamping” at a state park or private campground along any of the sound, lakes or rivers will do the trick! Of course, if it’s raining too much then my bougie Taurus/Capricorn self will advocate for a 4-5 star hotel with a spa, hot tub, bar and room service… near the waterfront or nature, of course! 😆 🪵🔥🏕️ 🤔🧖‍♀️🍷🍽️

I love car camping too. In 2022 & 2023 I went on summer car camping trips to Mt. Hood, & to Eastern Oregon; Grande Ronde, Joseph, & Baker city. I’ve done that for 3 years in the past, but wonder if I’d fee too cold car camping now that it’s almost winter; I’m not used to it now. Would you go car camping in December?

Any forest area grounds me quickly and we have so many options in Washington state. Battleground Lake has been my church for years. Her paths, trees, water and natural sounds recharge my soul. So grateful 🙏

In Washington state, I love to go to the healing waters, the 2 hot spring places: Carson & Bonneville hot springs. Both are near the Columbia River, & in the mountains. It’s only an hour drive from me in Oregon state.

I’ve wanted to drive to Ashland, in southern Oregon for a few months, to be with some nice people for some events. But when I drove south on I-5 on March 31, 2020 I experienced a freak hail storm on the highway. It had been a nice spring day when the hail came down suddenly. My car turned around in a full circle, and another slid into a ditch. I had just bought 4 brand new all-weather tires in Eugene, but my Ford car circled anyway. An ambulance came to help someone on the northbound side. So I’m very hesitant to go now that it’s December, when this type of weather event could be more frequent. That’s why a safer alternative would be to go to the hot springs in Washington, above the Columbia river. Unfortunately, those places won’t have the possible social stimulation of going south to Ashland, Oregon. I would need to attend those events alone again, on Zoom. Flying there would be very pricey.

I cannot travel due to health issues. Any recommendations?

I'm not sure if it would help but you could travel locally. Basically means to travel not so far and go to places that are local to you. Probably somewhere that you haven't visited in your state before. Hope this helps 🤗💞💕

Using a comfortable space in your home, a space that is your safe space that you feel at peace in. Can put peaceful music on whether it be the sound of nature or hand pan or other. Can light some candles and incense.

I’m Leo Sun, Scorpio Moon, Virgo Rising; my favorite place is the stretch of roads heading into the Big Apple. While in transit, seeing the skyline, causes me to feel expansive into all possibilities. The skyscrapers are mountains made by human crafters, like a hobbit in a hole… but for many more people. Industry and creativity…. now if only we can get it “green” nestled in a blanket of earth stewardship.

I live near the Appalachian mountains and I feel so connected to nature and spirit when I am out there, walking the trails, sitting my the rivers, seeing the giant stone boulders that have fallen and shaped the landscapes. It’s such a magical place for me

Beach, lake, river, waterfall, any body of water will do and trees! I love trees. Cabin in the woods, hiking, walking through nature, sitting with nature. Snuggled in a blanket by a fireplace watching the stars and the moon. Sunset on the beach.
