I was initiated by a friend 1 year ago and at the time I could not articulate my experience into words or what was happening at the time. Looking back on this experience now I understand it was all necessary in order to become who I’ve always meant to be. Obsessed with my image, monetary things and climbing an endless corporate ladder that I was never going to reach I finally broke down. I lost my mother to a 2 year battle with cancer at the age of 59 and I tirelessly worked to deal with the grief. My husband worked across the country on a 3 week rotation for 15 years and I worked around the clock with a teenage son in Real Estate. I trained others endlessly in my spare time as a personal trainer until my spine let go and I started losing dexterity in my hands.
