Thanksgiving Together: Gratitude & Winter Ready

This fall, we've already honored our ancestors during Samhain, dressed up for Halloween to protect ourselves from evil spirits, and now another autumn holiday is here—Thanksgiving.
Thanksgiving is primarily celebrated in the United States and Canada. In the U.S., it takes place on the fourth Thursday in November and is one of the biggest national holidays, symbolizing gratitude for the harvest, family, and achievements of the year. In Canada, Thanksgiving falls on the second Monday in October and is celebrated in a more modest way as a harvest festival and a time to give thanks for life’s blessings. Beyond the U.S. and Canada, Thanksgiving is also observed in countries like Brazil (O Dia de Ação de Graças), the Netherlands (Dankdag), and Japan (Labor Thanksgiving Day), each with its own version focused on gratitude, harvest, and connections with family and friends. On this day, regardless of how or with whom you celebrate, there’s a simple yet profound message: recognizing the moments of joy and support that enrich our lives. Loved ones gather to share food, joy, and gratitude for all they have. It’s not just about traditions or feasting (though it is partly that), but about looking out for those close to us. Winter is approaching, and we need to be sure we’re ready to face it together. ❤️
Thanksgiving is all about gathering around a cozy, comforting meal that brings warmth and joy. Here are some meal ideas to inspire your holiday table: Traditional Menu 🍂 • Herb and Garlic Roasted Turkey 🦃 • Mashed Potatoes with Gravy 🥔 • Classic Apple Pie 🍏🥧 Fall-Inspired Drinks 🍎🍷 • Spiced Apple Cider with Cinnamon 🍎🍂 • Cranberry Ginger Punch with Honey 🍯🍒 • Mulled Wine with Orange and Star Anise 🍷🍊 Vegetarian Menu 🌱 • Pumpkin Soup with Toasted Nuts 🎃🥜 • Roasted Potatoes with Rosemary and Garlic 🥔🌿 • Apple Crumble with Oats 🍎🍯
Thanksgiving is a perfect opportunity to extend kindness beyond our own circles. This season, consider organizing a volunteering activity with family or friends. Whether it’s helping at a local food bank, cooking meals for neighbors in need, or gathering clothing donations, small acts of giving can have a big impact. If in-person volunteering isn’t possible, many organizations appreciate contributions of supplies or funds. By giving back, you’ll be sharing the warmth of the holiday with your community and creating shared memories around the spirit of generosity.
Our Gratitude feature makes it easy to build a daily gratitude habit, which can be especially meaningful during Thanksgiving. This feature encourages us to recognize what we have and helps us strengthen our connections with others. You can use it as both a journal and a source of inspiration. This year, our community has shared more than 50,000 moments of gratitude—reminders of the positivity that surrounds us all.
We would also like to thank everyone there and have a surprise for you: a playlist for your celebration & chill!
Black Friday has become a tradition: people start looking for gifts for Christmas and other holidays, and stores hold major sales. It’s the symbolic start of the winter shopping season and a real opportunity to approach abundance mindfully. However, with Black Moon Lilith in a favorable trine to the planet of abundance, Jupiter, we couldn’t see this as just a coincidence and are excited to surprise you with a special offer!
