Total Lunar Eclipse in Virgo
On the night of March 13 or early in the morning on March 14, depending on the time zone, the first eclipse of the year will occur—a Total Lunar Eclipse.
This event will be the first total lunar eclipse since November 2022.
A lunar eclipse occurs when Earth comes directly between the Sun and the Moon, casting Earth's shadow over the Moon and blocking sunlight from reaching its surface. This event is often considered a more intense version of a Full Moon. This time, the eclipse coincides with March's Full Moon, traditionally known as the “Worm Moon.”
The eclipse will be visible in regions adjacent to the Pacific Ocean, as well as in North and South America, Antarctica, Alaska, the northeastern part of Russia, Western Europe, and Western Africa.
The best viewing will be in:
• North America: Very favorable conditions for observation across all 50 U.S. states, Canada, and Mexico.
• South America: Totality can be observed in Argentina, Brazil, and Chile after midnight.
We are thrilled to announce that MoonX will be broadcasting the eclipse live, so you can watch the magic unfold from the comfort of your own home. Keep an eye out for a banner on the main screen of the app, which will alert you to the start of the broadcast. You'll also receive a notification when the eclipse begins, so you can tune in at the right time.
The lunar eclipse will occur in several phases:
1. Penumbral eclipse: from 03:57 to 05:09 UTC, when the Moon dims.
2. Partial eclipse: from 05:09 to 06:26 UTC, when the Moon begins to redden.
3. Totality: from 06:26 to 07:31 UTC, when the Moon is fully red.
4. Emergence from shadow: from 07:31 to 10:00 UTC.
Thus, the entire eclipse process will last 6 hours and 3 minutes, with the total phase, during which the Moon will acquire a red hue creating the “Blood Moon” effect, lasting nearly 1 hour.
The total lunar eclipse on March 14, 2025, at 23°58' in Virgo emphasizes practical life aspects such as work, health, and daily routines. This event encourages balancing emotion with logic and finding harmony between control and trust. It's an ideal time to address suppressed feelings and complete unfinished tasks, paving the way for new beginnings.
The aspects of the Moon with Uranus, Mars, Saturn, Neptune, and Pluto can trigger our desire for change, encouraging us to seek new approaches to solving problems.
Although this lunar eclipse may bring some people a surge of energy and motivation to act, it's important to check the motives and beliefs behind such actions. Emotions and feelings can be clouded not only by the opposition of the Moon to Neptune but also by the period of Venus Retrograde.
Moreover, we may feel internal tensions, anxiety, or a sense of being overwhelmed. All of this can make it harder to find understanding in communication.
But remember, the trine between the Moon and Pluto opens up the possibility for deep transformations and liberation from old emotional blocks.
So, try to approach this journey through the eclipse corridor with responsibility and patience. This path will unfold along the Virgo-Aries axis and will end with the Solar Eclipse in Aries on March 29.
All of this symbolizes a reboot, if you will, an exam, and a new cycle, opening doors to the future and pushing us toward change.
To better embrace the lessons and pass this astrological exam successfully, we suggest you pay attention to potential difficulties and reflect on the following topics:
⚡ Spontaneous Changes
• Moon's trine with Uranus: may lead to unexpected turns of events, causing a sense of instability.
What potential and benefits for the future can I gain from unexpected changes in my life❓
🔥 Increased Impulsiveness
• Moon's sextile with Mars: may lead to hasty decisions and conflicts.
Where can I show initiative and activity for good, without crossing the line into impulsiveness❓
🪑 Feeling of Loneliness
• Moon's opposition to Saturn: may create a lack of support and self-doubt.
How can I strengthen my inner foundation and find support during difficult times through responsibility and moderation❓
🌫️ Illusions and Misunderstandings
• Moon's opposition to Neptune: may make it difficult to make sound decisions.
In what situations am I inclined to see things as I want them to be, rather than as they truly are❓
🌀 Emotional Transformations
• Moon's trine with Pluto: may intensify emotions.
Which aspects of my personality require deep self-analysis and possibly changes for my personal growth❓
Considering these aspects will help bring awareness to the current challenges and find ways to overcome them, fostering personal growth and harmony.
In conclusion, this lunar eclipse offers an opportunity to reassess the balance between service and personal initiatives.
May this time of transformation bring you clarity, growth, and peace on your journey.
